Created by the beloved country-western singer Roger Miller this Tony Award-winning score is a scintillating blend of bluegrass, gospel, and honky tonk.
Gizel, together with UNIVERSES made their Public Theater debut with an explosive new work about the complicated legacies of the original Black Panther Party and the Young Lords Org/Party. Developed and Directed by Liesl Tommy (Eclipsed, The Urban Retreat).
Gizel starred as Anna in Disney's “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion,” the new musical adaptation based on blockbuster animated film of the same name. The show is playing at California Adventure's Hyperion Theater, the 1,873-seat venue that was home of "Disney's Aladdin -- A Musical Spectacular" for 13 years.
Gizel Jimenez is a graduate of New World School of Miami, FL receiving a BFA in Musical Theater.
